having a wingman or going solo?

By being alone, not drunk, relaxed, and approachable, I get bumped up on her sex wish list.   --RooshV
Those are some great words from Roosh - author of Bang! (get it now if you don't already have the ebook)  - and it's something I've always also been in agreement with.

Honestly, I've never been a good wingman.  I've been out and about with good wingmen, but due to my extensive traveling, it's hard to meet new guys that share your level of skill and understand rules of being a good wingman. So, solo is my way to go -- that being said, don't hesitate to go out and have fun with a group of friends (male and female) - just do your approaches solo.  This way, the woman has likely already noticed you laughing and having a good time with your friends.

Now, having a mentor or coach with you is a different thing, so don't get confused there!

Girls with Guys at the bar..

Most girls aren't dating the guys they are out at the bar with.

So be sure to open "mixed sets" & be friendly with everyone to show the girl you're interested in you have social intelligence!

Stuck for something to say?

If you're having trouble figuring out something to say, take a moment:

What do you see on her that is unique or unique about the situation?  (I really love that tattoo)
What do you feel about the environment you're in (ie, the band is great)
 etc.

Confidence vs Creepy

Once she notices you looking, you’re either going to be “confident” or “creepy,” so be confident and approach.

You've probably heard of the "3 second rule" - so do something - it's better than nothing!

Sitting in the sidelines?

If you stay on the sidelines of life, you won't lose...but you sure as heck won't win, either.
In learning "game",  you have to juggle a lot of factors -- one common problem is "studying" too much - sitting at the keyboard - reading blogs, new materials, and so on.

Now, I'm all for learning new stuff -- but you need to get off your ass and practice.  For every hour of new material you study, spend at least two "in field".  Nothing beats real life practice.

Grab RooshV's book "Bang" (click here) and get more lays in 60 days.  It's a quick and easy read and will have you in field getting results in no time!

Just have fun & be talkative...

A valuable piece of advice from Jeremy at LoveSystems...
Open sets just for the sake of having fun and feeling talkative. Not every set is meant to be one where you flirt with her or take her home.

Being a fun, out going guy shows those around you confidence and social awareness.  These are attractive qualities!

Fear & how to over come it...

"I know fear is an obstacle for some people, but it is an illusion to me .... Failure always made me try harder next time." -Michael Jordan

Really, failure just means you're one step closer to success... don't let it get to you -- try harder next time and make sure you don't make the same mistakes again.  Of course, also keep in mind that maybe you didn't make any mistakes with her.... she could have just "not been interested (or available)".    A lot of the "top PUA companies make it sound like you can pickup any woman any time, any where -- this is simply not true".

Being Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

For those that are quite new and uncomfortable around attractive women, I like to take them to strip clubs.

This puts them into an uncomfortable position, and allows them to learn to be comfortable in a situation where attractive women (for the most part, lol) are approaching you.

So, learn to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations (& not just situations involving women).

You'll notice massive improvements in your self confidence and inner game.

If you're going to flirt....

Last night I ran a small workshop for shy guys - it's designed to get guys comfortable with the tension of talking to "hot women"... we start out with some theory and take it to a strip club for "immersion therapy" so I can get a good handle on specific aspects of "things needing work"..  (learn more about the workshops here - or try a LoveSystems boot camp in your area).

Anyway, we bounced after a couple of hours to a regular night club to work on approaching "regular" women...

Now, I know I've said this before, but it needs said again:

If you're going to flirt, be ready to make the approach.
You're telling the girl you're interested and if you get smiles and acknowledgements back - she is interested in you.  Approach and start a conversation!

It was obvious with a couple of my clients that a couple of attractive ladies were getting "frustrated" by the flirting, but lack of approaching.  Guys, you know who you are!

Escalate sooner than later.....

The longer you're talking to her with out (sexually) escalating, the more awkward it will be later (if not impossible).

While on this topic, the same thing applies even in an approach... if you're checking each other out, but you don't make a move, you might as well forget it later on - it just gets too awkward - for the both of you.

Set some standards...

Some guys think by going for girls less attractive it's easier. That's not the case. There's no correlation.

Going out solo

Skew the odds by befriending the staff and knowing the regulars.

Missing an approach

It should feel worse to miss an approach than to be blown out.
Learn to associate trying and failing as better than not trying at all.

Make a move already

If there is a woman you see repeatedly, if you don't make a move by the third time, she's written you off.

Besides, it just gets too awkward if you've seen her numerous times and not said a thing.  Make a move when you first see her, or at the first available opportunity.

She thinks you're just not interested

Women don't even know you have approach anxiety.
She just thinks you're not interested in her, not that you're too nervous to approach.
